Rules for using Hardwood Eras

Acceptance and eligibility
By using Hardwood Eras, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Entertainment only
Hardwood Eras is a free entertainment game. Scores, ratings, prices, archetypes and lineup evaluations are subjective game mechanics and are not official basketball statistics, rankings, betting advice or professional analysis.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account, keeping your login credentials secure and providing an appropriate display name. Do not attempt to access another user’s account or disrupt authentication services.
Fair play
Do not manipulate requests, automate excessive submissions, exploit defects, impersonate another person or interfere with Daily leaderboards. Scores, public results or accounts may be removed or restricted when activity appears fraudulent, abusive or technically harmful.
Shared content
Leaderboards and result pages can be public. Do not use display names or sharing features to publish unlawful, threatening, hateful, deceptive, infringing or personally identifying content. Hardwood Eras may remove public content or restrict access at its discretion.
Ownership and third-party rights
The Hardwood Eras name, original code, design, written copy and game presentation belong to the site operator or its licensors. Hardwood Eras is an independent, unofficial game and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBA, its teams or any player. Basketball names, team names, trademarks and factual historical references belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary.
Availability and changes
The game may change, experience downtime, reset data, remove content or discontinue features. No guarantee is made that accounts, leaderboards, achievements, saved progress or shared links will remain available indefinitely.
No warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hardwood Eras is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost opportunities or losses arising from use of or inability to use Hardwood Eras. These Terms do not limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.
Suspension and termination
Access, accounts, scores or public results may be suspended or removed for violations of these Terms, security concerns, abuse, legal requirements or protection of other users and the service.
Governing law
To the extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Florida.
Changes and contact
These Terms may be revised as the service changes. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Questions may be sent to privacy@hardwooderas.com.
